Photograph New York 's Wallpapers

Gift Shop of America
America the Gift Shop is a set of photograph installations made by Phillip Toledano, more familiar as Mr. Toledano.
This selection is basically a criticism on Bush and Cheney administration and their foreign policy through the years. These souvenirs are certainly representing one trip through the eyes of the artist. Born in London, Mr. Toledano’s works are mostly photography and other installations with social and political messages. He was featured in Vanity Fair, the New York Times magazine, GQ, the London Times, Esquire, Le Monde among others.
“Fingers must be pointed, and pointed publicly. Then, and only then, when the world sees America acting as they tell the world to act, will its honor be restored” Toledano once declared.
At the end of all trips we have, we like to buy souvenirs, so we can remind ourselves later on the good times we had.
